6. Open-air Museum Detmold – In Detmold you can find an open-air museum. It shows old german houses and farms of the time between 1550 to 1800. The area is about 90ha big and contains more than 90 different buildings. The open-air museum Detmold has opened between April and October. You have to drive about an hour from Lippstadt to Detmold but it’s definitely worth a visit.

7. „Herbstwoche“ Lippstadt

The funfair Herbstwoche is one of the event hightlights in Lippstadt. It offers many attractions for adults and children. Thrilling rides are very popular to Teenagers.
